Raisers Edge NXT Connection

Raisers Edge NXT is a cloud-based fundraising and donor management solution for nonprofit organizations.
This topic describes how to authenticate to Raisers Edge NXT and configure any necessary connection properties in the Raisers Edge NXT connection connector.
Connection Configuration
Each connection property available in the Raisers Edge NXT connector is explained below.
Connection Name
The name of the connection to be created should be provided. This is the name that will display on the list of available connections.
Subscription Key
Subscription key which provides access to the API. Found in your Developer Profile.
To obtain a key, follow these steps:
Request a subscription to an API from the Products page (https://developer.sky.blackbaud.com/products/), select SKY API Standard Edition.
Select Subscribe. A confirmation screen appears.
To submit your request, select Confirm. You will get an email notification when your request is approved.
After it is approved, you can view the subscription key within your developer profile.
Client ID
The client Id assigned when you register your application with an OAuth authorization server.
Client Secret
The client secret assigned when you register your application with an OAuth authorization server.
Refresh Token
The refresh token for connecting to Raisers Edge NXT.
Advanced Configurations
This section contains advanced configuration parameters.
Include Custom Fields
Set to true to retrieve custom fields values for Constituents, Actions, Opportunities, and Gifts.
Retrieval of custom fields requires making a lookup per record, making it expensive to retrieve them.
Add Configuration: Additional properties can be added using this option as key-value pairs.
After entering all the details, click on the TEST button.
If the connection service identification and authentication details are provided correctly, a success message stating “connection available” is generated.
Click on the CREATE button to save the changes.
If the details are incorrect or the server is down, you will get a message “Connection unavailable”.
