See the Connector Marketplace topic. Please request your administrator to start a trial or subscribe to the Premium Reckon connector.
Reckon is a software company that provides various financial and business management solutions, including accounting software and cloud-based services, to help individuals and businesses manage their finances and operations effectively.
This topic describes how to authenticate to Reckon and configure any necessary connection properties in the Reckon connection connector.
Connection Configuration
Each connection property available in the Reckon connector is explained below.
Connection Name
The name of the connection to be created should be provided. This is the name that will display on the list of available connections.
Company File
The name of the Company File to open.
If Reckon is not currently open with a Company File, it will automatically open in the background with the specified file.
Do not set the Company File when Reckon is already open. If Reckon is accessed through the application UI, only the currently opened Company File may be used.
If you are connecting to a remote company file, the Company File parameter will be ignored. Please specify the company file when creating a QuickBooks Gateway user.
Application Name
The name of the developer’s application.
This name will appear when the application first connects to Reckon. Reckon will display this name and prompt the user to grant or refuse access to the application.
User
A username for the QuickBooks Gateway connection.
The QuickBooks Gateway must require user authentication before this property is used.
Password
A password for the QuickBooks Gateway connection.
URL
The URL where the QuickBooks Gateway is running.
