Link Compute Environment to Projects

Once the compute environment’s setup is completed, it should be linked to the Gathr projects.

This is a mandatory step. Once completed, only then the project users will be able to deploy applications on the custom compute environment’s registered clusters.

• Only an individual signed up user or an Organization Administrator can link the compute setup environments to projects in Gathr.

• This is a mandatory step for the relevant field values to get displayed during application deployment using registered clusters.

Steps to link a custom compute environment to a project:

1. Navigate to the Projects → page.

2. Edit the project in which the custom compute environment should be linked.

   Follow the steps given in the topic Edit Projects → (Step 2 - Accounts field), to know how to link the registered accounts with a project.

3. Save the updated project details.

Once this linking is completed, you can configure the applications to run on the registered clusters.
